دعا زعيم حزب الشعب الجمهوري، القوة الرئيسية في المعارضة التركية، الثلاثاء، إلى تظاهرة حاشدة السبت في إسطنبول لدعم رئيس بلدية المدينة المسجون أكرم إمام أوغلو.
وتوجّه أوزغور أوزيل إلى حشد تجمّع لليلة السابعة على التوالي أمام مبنى بلدية إسطنبول قائلا “هل ستشاركون في التظاهرة الكبرى السبت لدعم أكرم إمام أوغلو، ولمعارضة اعتقاله، والقول إننا نريد انتخابات مبكرة؟”.
